Anne Kough
Meet the driving force behind Veso Properties, LLC Professional Home Buyers
“I am empowered to put Veso Properties’ mission statement into action—to strengthen communities by offering real estate solutions, building relationships, and ultimately making a positive difference in clients’ lives and communities.”
Here's her why...

Anne Kough grew up in a hard-working, entrepreneurial family. She owned her first home by the age of 23. And she quickly rose to leadership positions during her 25+ years in the retail food industry—where she continues to work today.
“Transitioning into real estate is so natural for me,” says Anne. “The food industry and real estate industries are both essential markets. Putting food on the table for your family and a roof over your head can keep people up at night--and I want to help make a difference in the Harrisburg area.”
Anne’s story really begins with her father. He came to the U.S. from Ecuador in 1960, not knowing any English, and finding work as a delivery man for a bakery, making the rounds to deliver milk and bread. Curious and a quick learner, he stayed at the bakery after his work shifts, unpaid, to learn all that he could about bakery operations, recipes, cakes and pastries. When the owner fell ill about a year later, he stepped in. Opportunity came knocking about a year later when he was offered a position at a New York City area bakery.
Anne was 14 at the time, and her childhood was intertwined with her father’s entrepreneurial spirit:
“I have childhood memories of seeing his dreams come to life—my father ended up owning three bakeries in the New York/New Jersey area. My school bus would drop me off at the bakery every afternoon. As a teenager, I was walking with food safety inspectors, putting bulk orders in, doing the accounting and finances—the bakery was our life.”
After earning a degree in business administration, Anne launched her career in the supermarket industry and quickly rose through the ranks. She’s been with Giant Foods her entire career—since the age of 19. She entered business management in 2002—a position she continues to hold today.
“It’s an amazing industry and has provided a foundation for my real estate business, Veso Properties,” Anne explains. “I have been strongly influenced by Giant’s core values, team culture and leadership training. My skills include executive finance experience, business experience and a heart for helping my community.”
Full time job and full time mom.
Real estate has always fascinated Anne. She was determined, as a single mother at the age of 23, to put a roof over her son’s head. “I still remember going to sleep, the first night in my first home, and then waking up. It’s hard to describe that feeling, but it was amazing. I was so young and it was not easy, but I scraped and worked and made it happen. So many people think owning a home is impossible if they’re not in the right position, and I think they’re wrong. Our tagline at Veso Properties, ‘Rebuilding Possibilities,’ is such a key phrase.”
Anne is happily married to her husband of 15+ years, Jonathan, and they have three children. In fact, Veso is named for them—Vinnie, Ethan and Samantha. The “O” comes from the beloved family dog, Ollie. The tight-knit family resides in Harrisburg, with additional family members close by. She has pursued and achieved all real estate investment and agent training and licensure; Anne holds her real estate license as a sole agent with Keller Williams of Central Pennsylvania.
Making a strategic move into real estate.
Anne has built a network of real estate professionals and investors at Veso Properties, inspired by her parents hard-working work ethic, her close family ties, and the supermarket industry’s team culture and leadership principles.
